Diagnosis of dental nerve disease and orofacial pain
How to treat toothache effectively
Identify easy, intermediate and complex endodontic cases
Equipment, materials, files, rotaries, irrigants
How to use bleach safely and effectively
Patient information, consent, anaesthesia, pre-emptive analgesia
How to prepare teeth for a root filling
Rubber dam for any tooth
The root filling recipe – access – determining working length – cleaning,
shaping with hand files/rotary instruments and obturation
Dressing & sealing teeth
When to use a reduced file selection
How to bleach discoloured anterior teeth
Refreshments and lunch are provided
4.30pm finish

We are very easy to reach situated in South Liverpool, Hunts Cross is just North of the Land Rover plant and the Liverpool Airport. If you aim for the Liverpool Airport you will pick up signs for Hunts Cross, we are less that 1/4 mile from the Hunts Cross Railway Station.

By Train

The Hunts Cross Railway station is a 5 minute walk from the dental clinic. This station is situated on the mainline between Liverpool, Warrington, Manchester, Leeds rail link. Once you come out of the main station turn right, walk over the railway bridge, take the first right into Stuart Avenue. At the other end of Stuart Avenue you can see the clinic directly in front of you within a row of shops.

By Bus

From Manchester Airport

Taxi – Journey time 40 minutes

Train – From the airport railway station to the Hunts Cross railway station 60 minutes, with a 5 minute walk from the station to the clinic

Arriving in Hunts Cross town centre by car

Follow these simple directions:

Big set of traffic lights main crossroads Hunts Cross town centre

Follow signs to Hunts Cross Railway station

Drive over the railway bridge, the station is on your right

Take the first right turn into Stuart Avenue and drive to the other end

You will see the dental clinic directly in front of you within a row of shops, turn left, immediate right and into the car park in front of our premises. There is limited car parking outside the Dental Centre.

Often it is necessary to park in Stuarts Avenue and the surrounding side roads e.g. Yew Tree Road. Parked cars are very safe.

Please take care on foot in the busy car park and surrounding roads.

From North Wales, Wirral

From the Mersey tunnel head for the Liverpool Airport. Once you are in the vicinity of the Airport you will pick up signs for Hunts Cross and the Hunts Cross Railway Station, now follow Arriving in Hunts Cross town centre by car.

From the South M6

From the M6 take the M56 towards Chester, North Wales

Leave the M56 at junction 12 to leave the motorway.

From Runcorn Bridge head towards Runcorn/Widnes, and cross the bridge

Stay on the A562 heading towards Liverpool Airport.

There are traffic cameras both ways so observe the speed limits. After you pass beneath a flyover (the A5300) take the next exit to remain on the A562 (signed Halewood).

Go straight across at the roundabout, and straight on at the traffic lights. You will pass a garage on the right, then St. Andrews R.C. School on the left hand side.

Shortly afterwards the roads splits into two lanes at a large cross roads with traffic lights, turn right here into Mackets Lane.

Drive over the railway bridge and take the second right into Yew Tree Road.

The clinic is within the row of shops. There is car parking either side of the road outside the Dental Centre and it is easiest to enter via the Yew Tree Road entrance.

From The North M6 / Warrington/ Manchester M62

From the M6 take the exit at Junction 21A and travel towards Liverpool on the M62

Exit at Junction 6, take the second exit onto the A5300 travelling towards Liverpool Airport, Runcorn.

At the end of the A5300 bypass turn right at the large roundabout heading towards Liverpool on the A562, stay left here don’t join the dual carriageway
